Sophie la Girafe 50th Birthday Competition

Sophie la Girafe is certainly fabulous at fifty!

It is an exciting week for Sophie the famous giraffe toy as she launches her National Birthday Card competition. Keen to get the nation involved in celebrating her big 50th this coming May, Sophie is calling those of all ages to get creative and enter this unique art contest for a chance to feature in her month long exhibition at London based attraction, Battersea Park Zoo.
Sophie la Girafe is fast becoming the nation’s favourite baby toy and having been crowned with countless awards and used by many a celebrity’s baby, Sophie really does deserve an extra special celebration…especially this year, her 50th birthday!
So get the art box out and start painting, drawing and sticking to your heart’s content to design your very own birthday card for Sophie. Whether it is a collage of different Sophies, a Sophie created from tin foil and sequins, a simple drawing or maybe even a special photo of you and your Sophie – it is totally up to you!
All entries will be featured online at www.sophielagirafe.co.uk and the favourite 50 will be exhibited exclusively at Battersea Park Zoo during the month of May – what a novelty to see your very own masterpiece on the wall at the zoo. The one entry that gets Sophie’s extra special squeak of approval will also win the ultimate Sophie gift box including many goodies from all her friends in the nursery industry.

Unfortunately due to the adverse weather conditions affecting much of the UK we can no longer guarantee delivery before Christmas for any items.

INSTOCK ITEMS (Ordered Before 12noon):

Tuesday 14 December : Heavy Items / Orders Sent Using Standard Parcels
Monday 20 December : For Items Sent 1st Class
Wednesday 22 December : Orders placed using our ‘Want It Fast’ service
Friday 10 / Monday 13 December : Orders sent to countries within the EU

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS: Last order dates will vary depending on the item ordered – please contact us if you wish to check.

PERSONALISED ITEMS: All personalised items are subject to a final order date if required before Christmas please contact us to see if we are able to assist

ROYAL MAIL CHRISTMAS DELIVERIES

Royal Mail know that in the run up to the festive season we need to be able to collect parcels that just wont fit through our letter boxes so they are providing lots of extra services in the run up to Christmas to make things easier;

Extra deliveries: In the week leading up to Christmas, they’ll be delivering in the evenings and on Sunday the 19th.

Later opening hours: If you’re out when they try to deliver, its now easier to collect your post from your local Enquiry Office, which will be open later from 13th December. The opening hours will be on your ‘sorry you were out’ card.

More redelivery options: You can arrange redelivery of your Christmas parcels to your home address, a neighbour’s address or your local Post Office®.

On Sunday 13th June between 9.30am and approx 1.00pm, our credit card processing partner Nochex will be conducting essential maintainance on their servers due to this we will be unable to process debit / credit cards using this method – however you can still pay by credit / debit or Paypal account by selecting the Paypal (Credit / Debit) card option when you checkout.

Product Recalls For Infantino and Maxi Cosi

Both Maxi Cosi and Infantino have issued recalls amind safety fears regarding the Familyfix isofix carseat base and the Slingrider baby sling.

Maxi Cosi have recalled FamilyFix Bases purchased before 3rd March 2010; further information can be found on their website

Infantino have recalled the Slingrider after safety fears in the USA; further details on products affected can be found on the Infantino website

Snow Informatio

We’re Snowed In – Jan 7th Update

The snow that has been effecting much of the UK and Scotland has finally made its way to Bristol, main roads are passable but side roads are very slippery we are endevouring to get your orders to the post office as soon as possible and will contact you to let you know once they have been posted.

Items marked as Special Order may also be subject to delays depending on the area of the UK they are despatched from.

TotsCorner Christmas Greetings & Closedown Information

Unfortunately the final order date for Christmas Delivery has now passed and TotsCorner will be closed between Thursday 24 December and Monday 28 December – orders for in stock items placed during this time will be despatched on Monday 28 December, please note some special order items will not be despatched until Monday 4 January due to supplier closedowns.
