How will the Royal Mail strike affect my order?

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

Will the strikes effect my order?
From our experience items posted on strike days are being backlogged and when the strikes are over newly posted items are receiving priority, for this reason unless you specifically ask us to we will not despatch orders on strike days (if you would like us to post your order on a strike day please add a note to the comments box when you checkout)

Will my order be delayed?
In light of the strikes and despite our best efforts please be aware ALL orders are likely to suffer significant delays and options such as Special Delivery can not be guaranteed (although they may receive priority handling).

We have been advised by our local Post Office that it has been taking anything up to 20 working days and sometimes longer for standard 1st class items to arrive.

What if I need my order quickly?
Should you require an item urgently we will of course do our best to assist, Special Delivery Items are receiving priority handling between strikes, however the only way speedy delivery can be guaranteed is to use a courier service, costs for this will depend on the items ordered but if you would like a price please contact us detailing the items required and the delivery address.

Further Information on the strike can be found on both the Royal Mail and the CWU websites

We would like to thank our customers for their understanding and apologise that we are unable to offer our usual level of service and hope you will bear with us during this difficult time.

Mums Baby Magazine : A Great Website With Lots Of Useful Information!

rachel-and-joshua1Over to the creater of Mums Baby Magazine Rachel to say a little about the website and her inspiration for creating it;

After having my son Joshua in May 2009 I found parenting to be the most challenging yet rewarding experience I had ever encountered. Each day is a learning curve for both Joshua and myself.

Whilst I have been spending time getting to know my son I have come across and wide range of issues, solutions to problems, well meaning advice, products for children and general Mothers essentials. So often I have found myself asking others for advice and suggestions, whenever I have found a really beneficial product or solution to a problem I have made a mental note of it and rather than just storing it in my grey matter I decided to make the information available for Mothers Worldwide by starting a website.

Mumsbabymagazine.com is inspired entirely by becoming a Mother myself and realising that we all need a helping hand once in a while. It is also great to take some time out and read up on the subject relevant to our hearts, our children.

Mums Baby Magazine is a website which features articles, product reviews, polls, real life stories, competitions and much more. To help our readers get to know each other Mums Baby Magazine has created an online community for Mums to get together. Visit us at www.mumsbabymagazine.com and become part of the MBM community.
